DETAILS FOR ALIEN LAND HOLDING LICENCE
The ownership of land by foreign nationals in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is governed by the Aliens Land Holding Regulations of the laws of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
All foreign nationals wishing to acquire land in St. Vincent and the Grenadines must obtain a licence from the Government.  Applications are made through the office of the Prime Minister and registered through a local Attorney-at-Law.

1.	A C.V. document to contain the following information
	Full Name of Applicant
	Home Address
	Date of Birth
	Place of Birth
	Nationality
	Passport number/ Place and date of issue
	Marital Status
	Occupation
	Character Reference
	Any other detail that may be relevant to the application.
2.	Certified copy of Letter of reference from your Bankers
3.	Certified copy of Police Record
4.	4 copies of Alien Land Holding Licence application
5.	4 Copies of Survey Plans
6.	Valuation of property
7.	EC$2, 500.00 Application fee non refundable.
8.	(NB Medical is often required now)

PROCESSES LEADING UP TO ALIEN LAND HOLDLING LICENCE (ALHL):

Sale Agreement:
	This usually takes approximately (3) months
	This is also subject to ALHL approval by Cabinet
Schedule of Title / Abstract of Title:
	Location and description of land
Survey Plan:
	(4) Copies required
A cover letter addressed to the Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office:
	This is usually completed by the lawyer hired to process the ALHL
Governor General’s License / Alien Land Holding License:

Conveyance:
This is the deed, and will be transferred between the vendor and the purchaser.
